To those that have read my few posts during the last bit of 2016, thank you, and to anyone reading this I just want to wish you a very happy new year.
We don’t know what the new year will bring and there is no way we will ever be able to predict it, but good or bad we must embrace it and see the positives. Although life isn’t simply filled with just good years, the rollercoaster that we’re on makes us better and stronger, giving us experiences which we can build on and use later on in life. 2016 may not have been everyone’s favorite year, but it was a year for change. We shouldn’t judge the year on the bad things: the deaths, the political shifts and the conflicts, instead we should judge the year by how we have handled these changes. If we all pull together and put issues of race, religion and sexuality aside, we can make 2017 better for all that has happened.
I hope you all find what you are looking for in 2017, be that love, success or anything else. And if you don’t, that’s okay too, because there are other years, and sometimes ‘fate’ or whatever you want to call it works in mysterious ways, what might not be your year this year could be something spectacular the year after.
Whatever you want to do, whoever you want to be, you should embrace it with both hands and find your freedom. Whenever you feel alone, or lost or you’re struggling, just remember nothing is permanent; everything is temporary.
Have a good one!
